I am very happy with this product. The only thing I would object to is the "busy-ness" of the Webpage. It seemed that I had to go deeper and deeper to find what I wanted and sometimes it was difficult to find who was offering the best price. All and all, though I would order from them again.

The dish washer safe, 5-quart polished stainless steel bowl with ergonomic handle is big enough to handle large batches of heavy mixtures. Its ergonomically designed handle is contoured to fit the hand and makes lifting the bowl more comfortable. 6 month manufacturer's warranty.

So Far So Good
Used for about 1 month. Works perfect so far. Made double batch of cookie dough no problem. Have read other reviews where people have had problems with there's. Mine arrived looking new and unused. I think I got one with the new metal trans cover (will make sure before the warranty is up). Wanted to use it a bit before I wrote a review. So at half the price of a new one and knowing that they have a new transmission cover available if mine breaks (hopefully under warranty) I'll get a lot of use out of it.

As advertised
Works as advertised. No blemishes and packaged as if it was new. Works and blends great. Only thing I had to do was adjust the mixer height so that the attachments came closer to the bowl which was easy to do. I think this is the best deal out there for a kitchenaid mixer.

Why would you buy the lesser models?
This is my second one of these stand mixers. At 475 watts, it's almost 50% more powerful than other models. The 325 watt models (tilt head or lift) are under-powered and you can hear the motor straining at times. This model stands up to even the stiffest dough and operates all attachments (except the grain grinder) with ease. The grain grinder will destroy your mixer and I strongly suggest that you don't buy it. I'm not a fan of the cheap plastic attachments but the metal one's are great. For example, I have both a metal and plastic meat grinder. The plastic one cracked after a couple of years but the metal one is about 30 years old with no problems.

FINALLY I GOT A KITCHEN AID STAND MIXER
I have always wanted a kitchen aid stand mixer and finally I have one! Thanks to amazon selling the remanufactured ones! Came out of the box looking JUST like new and just in time for my son's 2nd birthday party! PERFECT
I love this mixer. It came in perfect condition. Not a scratch on it. I've made fondant with it several times and it was not a problem at all. Fondant is a type of icing that is the consistency of playdough. I would definitely recommend this product. It is very powerful and mixes quicker than a regular stand mixer. When I would cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy with my old Sunbeam stand mixer, it would take about 8 or 10 minutes. This mixer only takes about 3 or 4 minutes. I also like that you don't have to stand there and scrape the sides of the bowl while mixing.
